"To: Iloilo and Battambang"
The first local documentary film from SJCCM is "To: Iloilo & Battambang," and was directed and produced by Sophoan Sorn, premiered at the Stockton Civic Auditorium on March 2, 2006. This documentary celebrates the dynamic friendship of Stockton and her two sister cities - Iloio City, The Philippines and Battambang, Cambodia - through Stockton's Sister Cities organization and program. The film captured the events that the Stockton Sister Cities Association (SCCA) Delegation took on their 2005 Goodwill Tour to The Philippines and Cambodia. 2005 marked the SSCA's first trip into Cambodia, and the Ruby 40th Anniversary with Iloilo City as sister cities. Music in this film was generously donated by the world-renown musical of Dr. Gilopez and Madam Corazon Kabayao and Family.

Coming Soon: A new documentary
Sophoan Sorn is currently directing and producing a new cultural documentary that celebrates the rich history, heritage and success stories of Mexican-American people of San Joaquin Valley. Through personal stories, candid interviews, and historical footages, this documentary will explore the themes of community leadership, education, science, agriculture, youth leadership, visual arts, dance, music, commerce, and the concept of the family itself in the Mexican culture.
