讀經一 Reading 1

(尼尼微人離開了邪路，信了天主。)
恭讀約納先知書 Jon 3:1-5, 10　
上主的話再一次傳給約納說：「你起來，往尼尼微大城去，向他們宣佈我吩咐你的事。」 約納便遵照上主的話，起身往尼尼微去了。尼尼微在天主前是一座大城，需要三天的時間才走得完。 約納開始進城，走了一天的路程，他就宣布說：「還有四十天，尼尼微就要毀滅了。」 尼尼微人便信了天主，立即宣布禁食，所有的人從大到小，都身披苦衣。 天主看到他們所行的事，看到他們離開了邪路，就憐憫他們，沒有將已宣佈的災禍降到他們身上。 —-上主的聖言
The word of the LORD came to Jonah, saying:
“Set out for the great city of Nineveh,
and announce to it the message that I will tell you.”
So Jonah made ready and went to Nineveh,
according to the LORD’S bidding.
Now Nineveh was an enormously large city;
it took three days to go through it.
Jonah began his journey through the city,
and had gone but a single day’s walk announcing,
“Forty days more and Nineveh shall be destroyed, ”
when the people of Nineveh believed God;
they proclaimed a fast
and all of them, great and small, put on sackcloth.

When God saw by their actions how they turned from their evil way,
he repented of the evil that he had threatened to do to them;
he did not carry it out.

    【答】：我要永遠歌頌上主的仁慈。

  1. 上主，請指示我祢的道路，教給我祢的途徑。求祢教訓我，以真理指導我，因為祢是我的救主。【答】

  3. 因為上主溫良而公正，指示罪人應走的道路；引導謙卑的人履行正義，教導善良的人遵循坦途。【答】
    Teach me your ways, O Lord.

  1. Your ways, O LORD, make known to me;
    teach me your paths,
    Guide me in your truth and teach me,
    for you are God my savior.
  2. Remember that your compassion, O LORD,
    and your love are from of old.
    In your kindness remember me,
    because of your goodness, O LORD.
  3. Good and upright is the LORD;
    thus he shows sinners the way.
    He guides the humble to justice
    and teaches the humble his way.

讀經二 Reading 2

(這世界的局面正在逝去)
恭讀聖保祿宗徒致格林多人前書 1 Cor 7:29-31　
弟兄們，我給你們說：時間是短促的，從今以後有妻子的要像沒有的一樣；哭泣的要像不哭泣的；歡樂的要像不歡樂的；置產的要像沒有財產的一樣； 享用這世上財富的要像不享用的一樣，因為我們所看到的這世界正在逝去。 —-上主的聖言
I tell you, brothers and sisters, the time is running out.
From now on, let those having wives act as not having them,
those weeping as not weeping,
those rejoicing as not rejoicing,
those buying as not owning,
those using the world as not using it fully.
For the world in its present form is passing away.

恭讀聖瑪谷福音 Mk 1:14-20　
若翰被監禁以後，耶穌來到加里肋亞，宣講天主的福音說：「時候到了，天主的國臨近了，你們悔改，信從福音吧！」 有一天，耶穌沿著加里肋亞海邊行走，看見西滿和西滿的哥哥安德在海裡撒網，他們原是漁夫。 耶穌對他們說：「來跟隨我吧！我要使你們成為贏得人的漁夫。」他們便立刻拋下魚網，跟隨了祂。 耶穌又往前走了不遠，看見載伯德的兒子雅格和他的弟弟若望，正在船上整理魚網， 耶穌立即召喚了他們；他們就把父親載伯德和傭工留在船上，跟隨祂去了。 —-基督的福音
After John had been arrested,
Jesus came to Galilee proclaiming the gospel of God:
“This is the time of fulfillment.
The kingdom of God is at hand.
Repent, and believe in the gospel.”

As he passed by the Sea of Galilee,
he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting their nets into the sea;
they were fishermen.
Jesus said to them,
“Come after me, and I will make you fishers of men.”
Then they abandoned their nets and followed him.
He walked along a little farther
and saw James, the son of Zebedee, and his brother John.
They too were in a boat mending their nets.
Then he called them.
So they left their father Zebedee in the boat
along with the hired men and followed him.
